Picked up an ebay'd HE army cheap for my wife. She isn't a fan of the GW dragon model...
Of the alternative minis mentioned on the yahoo group's site, does anyone have any pictures?
Trying to figure out what would work well.
Thanks!
Chris

Have you seen the new Baby Dragons released by GW? Perhaps they'd be ok? There are a few different ones now on the collectors bit of their website that might be Warmaster friendly.

Have a look at the following Dark Sword Miniatures Dragons they are roughly the size of a Warmaster Dragon - I don't own any but I've seen pictures beside a BOFA Smaug and they where a similar size.
Sea Dragon (wingless)

Great to learn that you're still out there, Dave. I'm busy as hell at the moment, too, and know what a drag that can be on the hobby.
I wish I had access to my collection now, because that picture is aweful. For now, this article I wrote for my blog (http://underthemountain.wordpress.com/2009/09/12/beyond-smaug-fielding-the-other-dragons-for-10mm-middle-earth/) may be of interest to some.
Cheers!
