Title: So when is the next challenge starting?
Post by: azrael71 on January 03, 2010, 03:06:07 PM
Exactly what the title says!
Or are we just going to keep the tale rolling?
If so I will post my latest plans :)

If there is a new challenge starting, I would like to throw my glove/paintbrush and declare my intent to paint my Araby army.

Currently selecting colour schemes/prepping figures etc but if there is a new challenge on a specific time, I will hold off starting in anger.

Regards

Mark

My proposal is to allow Januari for people to finish up the previous challenge, vote a winner, and to allow people to prepare for a NEW challenge.

I agree with the idea of waiting until after January to start the next round.

Me too, end of January sounds good to give everyone time to finish up and get a nice army shot taken. With a bit of luck I should have another unit or two to show and a legal (if tactically weak) 1000 point army done.

Got to say though, you guys should really get your fingers out  :-*
I have had to play board games all Christmas in an attempt to curb my painting urges  ;D
That said Tales of the arabian nights and tobago rock :D

As long as I can rely on Mr Mark Relf to take the photos - I, too will take part in the challenge with my Empire army.

Ok,

I am afraid I am very stuck with the paint. Anyway lets see if I could make a last contribution in january.

Looks like my challenge was more about converting rather than painting. I've got some new stuff to show, so expect pictures sometime this week!

Super!

I will try and get my crossbowmen finished tout suite so my first post will be of massed cannon fodder, er, I mean brave and plucky Empire foot.

February is only a few days away.
Is everyone ready?

Well I've just about finished off my last Empire unit (for now) which I'll have done tomorrow ready for a final group picture. And I've got a lovely pile of Chaos toys ready to paint. That said, my last BB commission has spawned another which may well hamper my Warmastering for a while. I've also allowed myself to get distracted by a game called Ron and Bones (pirates ahoy!) which has claimed the last few night's worth of painting time. I reckon I need a fresh 'Tale' to keep me focused!

If anyone has anything ready for 'TOWP 2' I say start a thread already. We can always throw down some 'look at my unpainted lead' pictures to start things off...  I'm looking forward to finding out what people are up to this time.  :)
