Title: Imperial Assassin in a Dwarf Treasure Hunter warband
Post by: orbawyn on January 07, 2010, 11:00:15 AM
If I hire an Imperial Assassin can my Treasure Hunter warband's engineer make the his cross bow pistol  shoot farther. If so by how far. It's a pistol which would be 3" and a crossbow which would be 6". I would think 3".

Moved from the Blood Bowl Rules forum - think it might have been in the wrong place. ;)

I would think 3" also because Crossbow Pistol have a short normal range like Pistols while normal Crossbows and Handguns have a longer normal range and therefore get their range extended by 6".

Thanks for the move and the reply. 3" makes sence. The Faq states in other places that a pistol is a pistol for other purposes so using this interpertation would be consistant.

There is a FAQ on this somewhere. I first answer without looking it up would be NO, as the imperial assasin is not a dwarf.

Q. Does a Tilean Marksman gain the benefit
of the extra 6” range in a Dwarf Warband if
the Warband has an Engineer?
A. No, only Dwarfs in the Warband will
benefit and not Hired Swords or Dramatis
