Title: Warmaster miniatures
Post by: Bhaal84 on February 25, 2010, 01:06:25 PM
Hello everyone.

I´m thinking about starting with warmaster and now I have a short question concerning the miniatures:

Do the different blisters come with bases or do I have to order the bases seperately?

I´m asking this question because I saw a picture of a blister and it looked like it was without bases.

Thank you in advance for your answers!

Welcome to the forum and welcome to warmaster.

Bases are included in every blister.

Blisters should have bases, for a normal unit 3 thin black bases of 2x4 cm, the are VERY think compared to say WHFB bases, so you may have missed them on the picture

Thanks for the quick answers!

OK, then I must have missed the bases on the photos I saw. Maybe the bases where hidden behind the foam that is also inside the blisters.

If I can manage to convince some members of my tabletop group to start warmaster with me, you´ll be able to welcome a new player here soon.

I think warmaster is a really good gaming system and I also like the miniatures.

Wish me luck to convince my friends!^^

Where are you located ??  we might have people in the area already   8)

and

check the counters on the Yahoo group or the Warmuster site, they are a great way to get people to play quick and get a grasp for the game.

I already searched around my area for other players, but sadly without positive results. Maybe because I live more or less in the countryside....

Do you have a link where I can find these counters? It would be nice to have a game to see if I like the game or not before spending hundrets of euros for miniatures. I could make my own, just cutting paper into 2x4cm strips and write the names of the units on them, but when there are nice counters around, it would be better!^^

Here you find some paper counts to cut out and play warmaster without buying an army.
So you could try all armies and find out which you like best.
