Title: Sell me on a new fleet
Post by: Tezdal on March 04, 2010, 02:24:27 PM
Well, I've had my orks for 4 or so years now getting a couple games a month, been pondering up a new fleet. Play mostly IN, and a Tau guy, so what fleet would be most different tactically from Orks? Thinking possibly corsair eldar, hit and run tactics etc, or else Necrons just cause I love their models but have never played against them. Any ideas?

Necrons are pretty 'hard'. Can be seen as cheesy, especially if you rely on Tombships.

Eldar are nifty to use but game play can get a tad boring with official rules (mind you I dislike the official Eldar rules).
Craftworld Eldar are intersting as well (love the models).

Chaos is always interesting. Easy to use and a lot of options. Cheap to buy as well.

Most fleets differ from Ork tactics.

Yea I know 'crons are pretty strong, planned on mitigating that by using shrouds, love the models and they seem less cheesy than bunch of scythes list. Corsair Eldar might be in the future for me, but Necron models seem to be really shining for me at the moment.
