Title: Anybody heading for this years UK Games Day in September?
Post by: Ant on May 06, 2009, 10:22:14 AM: White Dwarf subscribers can buy their tickets now, anybody here planning to pick some up?

We could really do with a gang of SG nuts heading down there, locking AH/JJ in a cupboard and not letting them out until we find out just what the heck is going on at SG headquarters. Any volunteers? (http://img87.imageshack.us/img87/4939/smiliepacmancb4.gif)

Post by: Howlinggriffon on May 12, 2009, 12:16:36 AM: I'm taking this year off. I've been every year since 2004 and have helped put on club gaming tables since 2006 so I'm due a rest. Last year I was painting models and scenery for two months to get ready for Gamesday and I'd rather spend the time painting my own stuff this year. Not having to drive to the NEC at 5am will be nice too.

There's no-one in SG headquarters, by the way. Andy and Jervis are too busy with their own jobs to do any SG work now.

I might see if I can get away with dropping the wife and kids off somewhere for the day, otherwise I'll have Mia tagging along for the day (she'll be three in October). She can already tell the difference between a Space Marine and an Ork, so it shouldn't be too long before she starts mucking about with some paints and some of my spare models.
