Title: [BB] Blood Bowl Stadium
Post by: Maulwurf on May 06, 2009, 04:51:51 PM
Hi folks!
My freinds and me are planning to build an own stadium for our epic footballmatches. When i found this side i was wondering if anyone has done this and could help us with a few good advices to do so.  ???
So if anyone has experience with this matter, i´d like to hear his wise words.  ;)
Greetings Benne
PS: Sorry if my english is bad, but i hope anyone understands what i wanted to say.  8)

Well, I started making one, but I never finished it. I went to the dollar store and bought two cheap tough green mats, big enough that I could mark out half the play grid on each and have extra room around it. I used fabric paint that comes in a little squeeze bottle to mark out the dots on the grid. I used the mats so that I would eventually just be able to roll my stadium up and stuff it in my backpack.

Well it's not a Blood Bowl stadium, but a bloke over on the EF forums did make an awesome Necromunda fighting pit arena that might inspire you (link (http://easternfringe.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=5263)).

Frank Becker was around on the old SG forums - maybe he will show up here as well.

See his website here: http://bloodbowl.beckerf.de/html/stadiums.html

Thank you for the inspiration.
The stadiums from Frank Becker and the necromunda-arena both look great.
Now i need to figure out, how i can combine the best ideas of both to build my own stadium.  :D
If it works i show some pictures soon.
