A friendly warning, 40K has already stolen one Epic table so the max entrants for OW13 for Epic is now 18.

Get you ticket sooner rather than later before the 28mm mafia steal all our spaces :)

Ginger, of TC fame would also like to announce that tickets for Epic London 2010 are on sale. With the current TC outage he is handling all ticket sales via email. Head over to the Epic-UK calendar for more details.

Despite Botch epic selling out if you were thinking of going I'd suggest registering as they are keeping a reserve list, and hopefully more spaces will be available for the event in future years.

Well the BB section of Open War has been removed. So if you want to play Epic get you're ticket before 40K steals all our tables too!

Another event has been completed. 18 players joined battle yesterday at
Warhammer World. As the day reached it's climax a titanic clash developed
on table one in game 3. Dave "The Dice" Thomas was matched up against a
resurgent Tim Hunt. Once the smoke had settled Tim Hunt emerged victorious
taken his first tournament podium since FSA 2008! Mark Preston continued
his solid progress with second, and Dave Thomas had to settle for third.
The best painted vote was very tight but Chris Webb's space marine took the
honours over Chris Steels Vanaheim air cavalry. Full results can be seen here (http://www.epic-uk.co.uk/ukepicachampionship/t3x.php?tid=31).
I also hope all the new
players to the UK tournament scene enjoyed themselves and hope to see you
at another event soon. Thanks to 1st Company Veterans or running another
fun event.
The impact of Open war on the Championship (http://www.epic-uk.co.uk/ukepicachampionship/index.php) has been to give us a new
leader, Matt Arnold. Matt is making good use of his extensive epic
collection by playing 3 different races at the first 3 tournaments, while
maintaining a solid top 8 finish each event. It's close thought with 5
players within 7 points with a third of the season now complete. So 3
events, 3 different winners. Has Dave T finally lost his dominance? Is Tim
Hunt back to winning ways? Only time will tell.
The next event for Epic is Battle of the Chumps. This two day event run by
Flame on at WHW is now sold out.
After that comes my favourite event of the year Britcon. 3 days, 4000
points and all on campus at Manchester university. Details of how to enter
can be found on the Epic-UK calendar (http://www.epic-uk.co.uk/calendar.shtml)
