I think it's an ok gang, haven't played the orlock faction, but since you're using the original book, all gangs are the same at the start so I would have built my delaque one the same way (besides the heavy bolter).
Regarding the juves, why don't you put autopistol or stubgun on both? Iirc, one of them is better than the other one (range, power, etc) just can't recall which one sadly.
Also, why puting a ganger with an autopistol? :o Ganger = at least shotgun or lasgun, otherwise he won't be that much of a use with only a pistol and even with a sword or a massive one, their chances to get to hand to hand are pretty low imo. I would rather put a simple sword and give them a shotgun or a lasgun or in the worst case a laspistol than a simple autopistol which makes them like juves.
Another thing regarding the heavy, ok, you did give him two weapons which is a really nice choice cause in case of losing his heavy weapon he'll still be able to fight, but why again just a simple laspistol and not a lasgun which range is longer?
Well that's my 2c so hope it'll help :) Besides that, the way you built your gang is ok :)

Yeah i did only just arm my heavy with laspistol as i wanted a few creds left over in my stash so i cud get better rare items after my first battle and once i got a few creds i was planning on getting him a lasgun. The ganger with just auto pistol was cos the modal i have has one and i play wysiwyg so thats why and i wanted a couple of dedicated hand to hand fighters the guy with a massive sword is a conversion i did mixing catachan jungle fighter and mordhiem parts and i think its cool so thought i wud try him out. I played my first battle with them last night and i did get beat but that was on a unlucky bottle roll and the fact my heavy missed all his shots when he had a perfect shot at 2 gangers in the open. My gang came off better in post battle as i captured thier leader and killed a ganger where i only ended up with a couple of chest wounds on gangers and with the cash i got from ransoming the leader i bought a infra red sight and thinking of buying my heavy the lasgun.

Oki oki, nice reasons, but I had to ask :)
Hope you'll enjoy your next games. Don't forget to come around here if you have any questions or you want to give us feedback on your games :D

Yeah ill prob keep you updated on here we organising the fights for every thur night Uk time 1800hrs and once iv finished painting my gang ill try uploading pics of them too.
-
It's definitely the autopistols which are awesome, and the stubguns which are pathetic. I've got my probability thread around here somewhere with the math, the difference between the two is sickening.
Captured the leader eh? Hope you got a lot of money for him!
-
well it was a she as i was fighting escher and i got about 40 creds as thats all he had and im a reasonable chap but u never know he might capture my leader sometime later on and think well he was reasonable and let me off too.

Hey tried taking pics of my gang but my camera cant focus on the minutures so they all blurred and cant really see them anyone got any ideas how i can get decent pics of them

Most cameras have a macro setting now. On mine it's a mountain/flower icon, for far off shots (standard) and up close shots. Try to find that on yours, surround the figs with white paper and good lighting, then take a macro shot without a flash.

Damn it now i managed to get decent pics the files too big to attach on here lol

mspaint, image resize/skew, drop it to 30% of actual size, should be big enough to see clearly, small enough to attach. Easy.

very nice models!
good news someone else strayed from the delaque/escher/vansaar triple entant.
don't let anyone get you down about the heavy bolter. its not a machine gun -treat it like one and it WILL jam- its a sniper rifle, a damn good one at that!
-
Well the last 2 games iv played its not jammed and its caused the guy i play to have a few brown pants moments so its got a scare factor to it aswell and iv been very lucky with the sustained fire dice so far but will take the sniper thing into consideration as it sounds like an idea and once i get some more techno skills like armourer and weaponsmith it should be ok to use like a machine gun
