Hi,

use http://www.tabletoptournaments.net/g116 and chose the system you are playing. All matches are for the EuroGT just splitted into the three single systems.

Best regards,

Juergen

Can you explain the problem? From my understanding can you chose the language.
Title: Re: EuroGT XVII Karlsruhe Germany
Post by: Lex on August 02, 2010, 03:09:09 PM
you can choose your country, which will default the language, but then when looking for events you only get localized events, even if you set the "event radius"  to make if fall outside your own primary area

at times, even when logged in correctly AND after having set the "display"  language??  it still reverts to german

Hi,

after registration: Change on the left side to international. Then you should see all events within the system you have chosen.

Juergen

Hi,

was your registration of your personal things successful? I haven't found you.
If succesful- have you chosen the one-click-possibility then you can register on the event only by chosing your army.

Juergen

Hey there,

I'm sorry to hear that you have some serious problems with our site :-(. I'm currently not aware of any show breaking issues and I hope that I can get this sorted out with your help. I also don't have any reported issues regarding this. I also couldn't find any hint about a script error in the log files. I also just tried the signup and no issues there. The system is working flawlessly for 1000s of users, so I just could be some weird combination of circumstances. Perhaps it was just some real bad luck as I restarted the database server once today due to a software update.. but the time frame was only a couple of seconds.  ???

Could you please try again and drop me a screenshot if it happens again? Just drop me a mail at "nickname" [AT] tabletoptournaments [DOT] net

Language:
The language T³ shows up depends on a) your browser settings and b) the country page you're calling, if a) could not be decided. In addition you can choose a fixed language in your options. So a switching language should only happen if you switch between the country sub pages. For international guests the best experience is to just use the international page with no country sub page.

Cheers

Just want to state that we could locate the error in the latest Dutch translation update. Weird combination of very small mistakes. Everything is sorted out now and working as intended. :)

Hi,

some arguments for your wife:

If she comes with you - there is a spa right over the street and the shopping mall is not far away, too.

Jurisch,

I apologize if the following are stupid questions.

How and when do I pay for my registration?

In what format do you want the army list?  For that matter, how many points?

Black Ed

Hello Ed,

no stupid question at all...

I will provide all registrated persons within a mail the account details for the payment and the format for the army lists (Excel).

The armies will have two banners (1600 points and 400 points). All banners are based on the 2000 points description. Within the event you can play 1600 points or 2000 points as you agree with your opponent (or the time frame you will have to play).

Cheers,

Jurisch

If I could have persuaded someone else to travel with me I might have gone this year. But as it is there are more pressing demands on finances, and I can hardly say to the wife and kids 'sorry, no family holiday this year as I'm going to the Euro GT'. I'm going for the cehaper option of several UK-based weekend events instead.

Give me a year or two, and certainly once both are at school full time and then I might be able to afford trips abroad to play with toy soldiers.

Anyway, good luck and I hope that it goes ahead. Is there any news on next year at all?

Yess....a weekend full of fun with lot´s of games vers gentlemen I don´t have otherwise the chance to play with.
Good food, nice location, hectoliters of beer....and a lot of stupid jokes.
So far I neve regret to come to Euro GT´s.

Also it were a great pleasure to meet BlackEd in real life and to see his Daemon Army in action. He had nothing better to do then to use the tricks against me that I were giving him before when playing a game vers my Araby army....what a fun  ;D

I feel sorry for all of you who could not manage to come (for whatever reason) but hopefully we will have to chance to see you on another Euro GT

Cheers
Claus
