Title: What is current these days?
Post by: Seahawk on September 10, 2010, 09:08:14 PM
So, I'm super happy that Specialist Games has their own dealio again. Obviously a BFG fan, I'm not quite sure what is both current and official. I tried going through some threads on here, but there are no links or hard info, so could somebody define me a list of what's what?

For instance, I still have all the PDF's from the SG site just before it went kablooey. I have the 2007 FAQ. Blue book, Armada...

Specifically I need links to PDFs or names of books of the most updated following:
- Core Rules
- FAQ
- Space Marines
- Chaos
- IN

...as that's what I play. Any help?

If it is listed here:

http://www.games-workshop.com/gws/content/article.jsp?catId=cat480005a&categoryId=1100007&section=&aId=4300022

it is official, as is the 2007 FAQ. Rule books with the FAQ should be fine. nothing official has changed since (as far as I am aware).

2010 FAQ is a work in progress as you will see from all the discussion.

Alright I'll bite. What do you mean "that Specialist Games has their own dealio again."? I haven't heard anything but I have been gone a while.

@tinfish - Thanks. I wasn't sure if anything had changed yet, hence me thread.

@Colonel Kane - It could've been just me, but for a long time I couldn't access the SG forums...either they moved or were shut down for a while. They used to be on the GW site, or linked from it. Now that I can see them again, I'm happy!  ;D

This forum has been around for a year or so. But indeed, no linky link from gw.
