I have to create a Necron 1500 points list, and I have no idea to begin with!

Necron veterans, come to me.

Generally you don't take anything but scythes and tombships. The shrouds will make you lose, because of the way necron vps work.

So a list would look like this:

1500:

5 Scythes 1375
Then some re-rolls, or Dirges, if you feel the need to use all the points.

Alternately, you can take this:

1 Tombship
+sepulcher
3 Scythes

Re-rolls and dirges as necessary.
