Title: High Elf - Wand of Power
Post by: Guthwine on March 21, 2011, 05:14:44 PM
Just a quick question, was thinking about magic items for High Elves and came to the wand of power.
If I use the wand of power with a HE mage do I get the +1 on both tries or do I have to specify on which roll I want to use it. (first or second roll -if the first one wasnt a 1)

I would guess its only for one try but thought its better to check with you guys. :)

I don't know if this is right or not, but I'd say the +1 applies to both the original roll and the re-roll. In almost all other circumstances where there is a re-roll all modifiers remain the same (basing this off almost every game I've played- not Warmaster specific).

The text states that the roll for that spell has a +1 bonus. Both rolls are for the same spell so the same bonus shall apply IMHO.

As the above posters point out it is a RE-roll for the same spell. Having to use it twice implies VERY icky dice rolling !!

Ok thanks, was just confused by the "....+1 to the chance of a spell working once during the game...."
