Title: EuroGT XVIII
Post by: Jurisch on March 22, 2011, 10:14:52 AM
Hi,

the last EuroGT is over - and I am thinking just above the next one.
Would you like to have the next EuroGT within Berlin? I would have some ideas on that.

Cheers,

Juergen

I've got a friend who's from Berlin and is moving back. So hell yes, I'd love to see a Euro GT in Berlin. I might even be able to bring some guys from the club over with me, I can think of at least three or four that would probably be up for combining a visit to a soon to be ex-club member and a weekend of wargaming...

@Stomm: That sounds promising! If there are enough international players, I am sure the Austrian guys are easily persuaded to show up in full force. :)

It also screams 'roadtrip' to me at least. I'm not sure if I'd be able to 'borrow' the family car for an extended weekend though, so we might have to fly to the continent and the hire a car there. Split between four or five hiring an estate with a big engine ought to be affordable enough I'd say...

Actually thinking about it. With the budget airlines whacking on huge fees whenever you want to check anything, driving all the way from the UK may be the more sensible option...

Why not the train?  Compared to the US, the trains in Europe are cheap!

Because there is no speed limit on the autobahn...

I'd do my best to be there.

Greetings,
Gerald

P.S.: Isn't Stephan Hess living in Berlin? Would be great to have one of the WM authors as part.

Hello,

Are the plans for a polish EuroGT now in place?
Haven't organized anything yet, but the time frame is getting close.

Kind regards,

Juergen
