Hi everyone!
Having finally painted my WM Dwarf Hammerers, I wanted to try out a friend's camera and took some pictures. Here they are:
Proud Dwarfs

Forward March!

Bases aren't quite finished yet, apart from that I'm happy (and finally nearing completion of my 3000pts. army...)
cheers,
M

These are absolutely stunning.
Great work.

Awesome painting!

Beautiful dwarves, kudos for completing an almost 3000p force in that quality!
Show us more! :D

Very nice! I really like the color scheme you chose they really make those units pop!

just wanted to show some of the buildings I made for WM (didn't want to start a new topic for it...)

I will post more pictures once the castle is finished (so long as I am happy with the result)

Impressive buildings, what materials did you use?
Is the castle from Kalistra?
-
The Castle looks awesome!
-
Great castle.
-
I am sure the dwarves look forward to defend this great stonework. :)
-
castle is from Kallistra, yes.
the roofs are made of thin sheets of wood (not balsa, but balsa'd do fine too I presume), while the "brick" walls were made from modeling clay - pressed flat, left to dry, and then carved the stonework with a tool. Found a tutorial for it on the Flames of War website (http://www.flamesofwar.com/Default.aspx?tabid=110&art_id=708&kb_cat_id=24 - was done by casting the wall but it's more or less the same).
btw. here are some more buildings :)

these walls were made from something I don't know the English expression of - basically it's about 5mm thick, consists of foam with a thin layer of card on each side.
The wooden framework was made of wood, and the non-wood roof from old brush bristles.
cheers,
M

Foamcard or foamboard, and IIRC sometimes also Artistboard.
