Title: BFG...worth playing at 1000 points?
Post by: blackphoenix on April 28, 2011, 11:35:40 PM
It's been so long since I've played BFG and thinking about getting back into it to play with my son.
However I will admit, most of the fleets look pretty awesome and its hard to choose.  Starting with Imperial or Chaos really isn't needed as it's just a matter of getting back on the bicycle, however they're still both very cool fleets.

But give available cash and little hope to consider fully expanding later, how much fun is an average 1000 point game?
I'm considering the difference of a bunch of fleets at 1000 points or fewer at higher points.

The issue I have is I love them all.  :)

1000pt games can be awesome. Corsair Eldar are fun, IN, Chaos, Space Marines, Tyranids; these are the ones I have played at 1000 or 750. Even a few 500. Of all those, Tyranids are the only ones that haven't really worked out (hopefully that can be changed in the revised edition).
