Oh yeah !!   we want more (and you should consider some " effects "  for magic spells etc    ;)

BUT....... it sounded like the trolls gobbled of a bir more then they should ......  if I uderstood you well, then they made more then one Advance move ???

And the Goblin Shaman´s Gotha caused driveback that pushed a unit into a terrainfeature is a shooting attack, and units driven back into terrain from shooting dont generaly die.........   they MIGHT get confused

For a last-minute inspiration - bravo and well done!  Please do make another with the feedback you get and what you learned in doing it.

Here's what worked for me:

- First and foremost, this is the first time I've ever seen WM played, which is a great demo to get gamers interested.

- Second, I thought you did a good job, generally, of editing to the end of each turn and showing the results.  (Although, as a demo, you might plan to show each phase with an explanation for the first turn.  After that, you can just jump to the end of each player's turn as you did here.

- Considering your equipment and (I'm assuming) no real experience, I thought you did some real nice "camera work" in places.  e.g. Zooming to the Empire artillery and then panning to the orc unit it was targeting.  That said, there were places where the autofocus wasn't cooperating e.g. the goblin shaman.  Not that I would have done better.  That and lighting, which you already acknowledged.

- I also like how you kept the table uncluttered - dice, sheets, books.  You're buddy does have an enviable set up.  All the amenities - beer, snacks, TV, dog to pet on. Just like my game of WotR yesterday.

It might also be helpful to add some reflections on the game - What each player felt worked well, mistakes they learned from, etc.  Also, as a demo to showcase Warmaster, it might be nice for a minute's worth of observations about how the system compares to other familiar systems (not better or worse, just mechanics)  and a thought or two on what you enjoy about it and why it's worth exploring.

Again, this was inspirational for me and I'd love to see more.

Cheers!

Got to say video reports may be the way to go.
That said, ours would have to have an 18 rating :)

Nice I liked it! I've recently started making a warmaster army (chaos dwarfs) and searched youtube just two days ago to see if I could find any
video battle reports to get a feel for how the game plays. I was a bit disappointed to find nothing. So I it's good that you've made one, because people, like me, who are looking at getting into the game will
find it interesting. (I did a test search for "warmaster" just now on youtube and your video came up on the first page  :D). If you'll be doing more, then I'll check them out for sure.

Cheers!

would it be a good idea, for next one, to make a note of all the moves you are planning to make in a turn, then record the movement phase, as you can now speed this up immensely, as all moves are already known and prepared.

this would allow ppl to the msot important thing to warmaster, imo, which is the placement and movement of troops
