Title: what is your favourite army?

Mine is undivided chaos and my regular oponent is empire.

I played 1 and 2 in WFB (long time ago) and 2 and 3 in Warmaster (currently). When become "community approved" I will play CHD as well in Warmaster (at least it's the plan). It is really hard to chose which is really "the one" army...

And they are hard nutters to crack.
I have only tried another army once (DE or Undead) and that was in a foursome game of 1000p each. Fun, but very unregular.

Regular opponents: DarkElves and Undead.
In the early days (2001-2005) it was mostly Empire but also Dwarfs and HighElves.

But the favourite has to be my all time favourite fantasy race - Skaven.
Warhammer, warmaster, bloodbowl, MOW it has to be skaven, I just love the fluff and how you can achieve very different army builds from the same list.
But struggle not to pick another army as I really do like them all :)

But I'm an old player of GW products, and I'm loving the vampires counts. Blood Bowl (a hard roster...), Warhammer Battle (easier...), epic (no vampires? damn! blood angels, then!), W40K (same punition) and now, vampires counts in warmaster....

I'm a little bit silly with it: i've bought specially a blister of storm of chaos to have Mannfred, because in the blister of characters, there wasn't any beautifull one for me.

But I have never plaid with them till today... :'( So I don't know if it' easy or not...

Raise dead is a very useful spell ;)

Orcs&Goblins, Araby, Kislev and High Elfs also look very nice.

I like their playstyle and the "No Mercy" playstyle of this army.

Araby
The most beautifulest models of the WM range

But I also like to play Undead, Lizzardmen, Chaos, Empire, O&G ...etc.

Post by: Shrapnelsmile on July 19, 2009, 05:09:35 PM: My friends approved me to use one of the Cult of Slaanesh lists, so that is my favorite. Combining Slaanesh w/ the better Dark Elf models is simply two great tastes which taste great together.

But I also like Vampires and Chaos.

The most beautiful army in my opinion is Araby. They are very detailed and funny.

Post by: Meister.Petz on August 06, 2009, 08:22:55 AM: The only army I own in playable size are Skaven ... and I like the models of them most :) So much love given to the greens of this army makes them look so awesome funny (esp. the Jezzails and Rat Swarms). The rules are ... quite discussable ;)

I dont have much comparison to other armies, just played High Elves 2 times and Dwarfes 1 time.

Post by: Answer_Mod_Ithoriel on August 06, 2009, 10:08:34 PM: With 4,000 points of them painted I guess I have to say my favourite army is the High Elf one, though I'm becoming very fond of my Slaaneshi Chaos army (lots of scope for conversions and hard as nails) and my Lizardmen (I just love the figures)

Post by: BlackEd on August 19, 2009, 06:08:47 PM: I have first 6 armies (HE, O&G, Empire, Khemri, Dwarves, Chaos) and have played them all. I like Undead or HE the best, with a slight tilt toward Khemri.

I want to try a Deamons army next. I am thinking about making a Cthulu based deamons army because I just don't like Nurgle. Besides, the conversions would be fun!

Well really I'm not that slow a painter, I just very rarely sit down to actually do any painting. I could have spent an hour this evening for example, but have frittered it away online, etc...
