I've just completed re-doing Warmaster unit counters for all the armies, in accordance with the latest ruleset. The previous ones weren't comprehensive and were 72dpi from 2003, so I've redone them in what I hope is a more aesthetically appealing manner at 300dpi.
They've been mounted into PDFs for ease of printing and the files are ready for hosting.
Here's a sample (Zombies, from the Vampire Counts army):
Note that when printed at 300dpi (or just printed from the PDF) these counters should all be the correct size and orientation (40mm x 20mm; Harpies and Flyers and what-not oriented as infantry, Stegadons and Trebuchets as 40mm x 60mm, etc).
I still haven't actually USED the paper counters, though, so I'm holding off for now on making a .torrent of the PDFs. I want to mount a few units on self-stick vinyl tile and make sure that I have a good method for use, write up a detailed instruction list and then include that in the .torrent.
However, if someone wants to host 140MB of Warmaster unit counters PDFs, please let me know: mean(underscore)liar(at)hotmail(dot)com. Please use an ALL CAPS subject heading or else my spam filter will set your email on fire and I may never see it. I would love these to be disseminated throughout the internet for everyone to use, no need for attribution or anything else. I just didn't know where to advertise the release; I hope this is the right spot.
I still have most of the base images that went into these as well as all of the GIMP files, and a reference file for each army (units, stats, and a pic of the associated unit counter)... I think that's about 1GB all told, so that's all for the .torrent.

Put them up at Warmuster ?? that is where there is already a bunch of them anyway, so we could just swap those out ..
-
I couldn't find a link from the Warmuster page to contact anyone; I saw the playtest feedback form, but that was about it.

Warmuster is linked to this forum 8), so you can contact me (lex.van.rooy@gmail.com)

I tried to set up each PDF such that every 1000 points of an army were set up on a single page, so if you have a 2000pt army you'd just print out the one page per 1000 points. Some armies had too many options to fit on one page, but... eh.
The Araby set is based off of the WMA minis, since I didn't want to try to bother searching out pics of units of non-GW Arabian/Persian minis. The Daemon army is half WMA figs, half Warhammer figs; at the time I was making them I decided that given the fact that the list is somewhat generic by design then I ought to not focus overly much on the individual images the way I did with the other armies; Greater Daemons are still based on high-quality WH images though.
My next project was going to be counters for Man O War ships, but instead I'm going ahead with creating mountable images for:
- a full set of terrain features for Warmaster, using the WMA random terrain generation tables.
- fortress walls, towers, gates, siege engines (including the massive siege engines from Warmaster Annual), and everything else to conduct a full Warmaster siege
- ships, boats, and other vessels to utilize the Warmaster ship/amphibious scenarios
Anyway, here's another sample:

Any comments on the units would be appreciated. I wasn't able to print out and mount everything; I tried to make sure the units were discernible and their information readable, but if someone finds that to not be the case I'd like to hear about it.

do you have to register to download?
-
Not sure, but I will put them up on Warmuster tonight
-
do you have to register to download?
No, but I might venture a guess that RapidShare's design is purposefully obtuse to encourage that.
The middle column, "Save File To..." has a green button in it saying "Download". Select "Free Download" and you'll get a timer, which upon expiry will let you click "Download" to save the file.

Any progress n these?

Not yet, no - I got distracted by other projects. Considering it took me almost a decade of waiting and two months of actual side effort to do the Warmaster figs, who the hell knows when I'll get the other stuff done. I mean, if I just DID it and put aside my other distractions, it could be done in a another month or two. Too much enthusiasm, too many targets for it to be deposited with.
I'll post here when it's done, to another resounding silence. :D

Hey got a question for you
on the " * a full set of terrain features for Warmaster, using the WMA random terrain generation tables." Are you talking full 3d set or 2d?
-
2d. The intent is that you'd print them out and mount them on vinyl tile just like the units.
Here's a piece of a hill -
(http://img72.imageshack.us/img72/1977/hill50cm1.png)
The raw image basically fills a sheet of 8.5x11 at 300dpi. You get a series of these modular terrain pieces (mounted on vinyl), fit them together, and there's your terrain.
The idea is to create terrain suitable for every possible Warmaster Ancients random terrain result.
