Title: Tyranid Ordnance proxy?

I'm in the process of stripping and painting up a Tyranid fleet, and am looking around for some good proxies for Tyranid ordnance. Suggestions (with links)? ???

I always thought warmaster screamers of tzeentch would work well.

Those screamers look perfect to me!

The only other thing I can think of is searching for Tyranid 40k scale bitz:

Like these flesh hooks -> Might work chopped off and based as "living torpedoes"

I just made some up last night, actually.

The gaunt Biotoxin sacs for fighters, the 'fex Biotoxin sacs (double) for Assault Boats, and yes, the flesh hooks for torps. I'll try and get a pic later.

Here are mine with my fleet. Almost all of it was made from Tyranid 40k bits. The fighters were the small toxin sacs. The assault boats were the adrenal glands from the backs of hormagaunts. Each of the ordinance bases were cut out from warhammer fantasy movement trays.
