Title: [WM] Emperor dragon & Wench

Picked this up the other week for a ridiculously cheap price (along with loads of OOP WM goodies).
Just got round to painting it.

First off the maiden:

I was going to paint him up as Angram the Black but decided against it (more excuses for buying more dragons :))

Looks great Mick I particularly like how you've painted the wings the orange highlights blend in really well with the reds. Isn't the Emperor Dragon meant to be on a standard 20mm x40mm base? although he does look better on the larger base alright. I always thought the damsel was a bit of a weak sculpt - part of the rear of her head is missing! she must have been an after thought. Someday I'll get round to painting mine.

I presume you have the rules for the Emperor Dragon I have issue 21 of Warmag in front of me if you need them.

Thanks Dave.
I know about the basing, but my 'small' dragons fall over at the briefest glance so I wasn't taking any chances.
What isn't clear in the picture is that there is a 40 x 20 demarkation for when it gets to play.

I managed to source the full set of warmags so thanks I have the rules, they do seem a little weak though ;)

As for the maiden, my thoughts were why bother, it is almost as bad a sculpt as some of the dark elves.

Now to source Angram the Black  ::)

great looking dragon.

question: just WHAT do dragons do with the madiens anyways?

i can understandin them hording gold, but i fail to see what use they have for the women ( maybe amusement to tempt knights to combat?)

Paintings's good. I remember this mini to be VERY overpriced ;) . Does the "wench" has any ingame use or something?
