Greetings, faithful! I have opened up the boards at this point. There are still a few things to fix and sort out, but they are fit for public consumption right now.

Firstly, I want to thank everyone for their support and patience over the last week. This update is a critical stage, and the start of some big positive changes for online representation of the Specialist Games. More on that later.

As I said, there are still a few things that I need to address here. No forum or web site is ever really 'done', and there are always things to add and change and fix. If you have requests or notice any problems, please post them in this thread. I have a maintenance list that I will add them to. But, please be aware that it may take a while for me to get around to minor issues right now, as there are still a few things to sort out as a higher priority.

So, what has happened while you were away? In short, a lot. With the entire site in general, we have now moved to a brand new host, and a brand new package. While we were before on a standard shared package, we are now on a 'virtual private' package. What this essentially means is that we have a chunk of resources that is for our exclusive use, and is not shared with other sites on the same machine. One of the reasons that we had errors in the past was that the growth of the site and forum meant that we were requiring more and more resources, and the shared package wasn't delivering. It's not the worst problem to have, but it is frustrating. I am hoping that the current setup is now going to see us for a long time into the future.

One obvious change are the colours of these boards. The previous colour theme was really a 'temporary measure' that never got fixed.
