Title: warmaster army in X packs or fewer...
Post by: kyussinchains on July 04, 2012, 12:38:02 PM
here's the challenge, make a 1500 point warmaster army in the fewest number of packs possible.....

rules: no excessive clipping (ie. making 3 units from 2 packs is fine, putting a single model per base is not)

please do not mix manufacturers, by all means work out an all-pendraken or all-kallistra force, but label it as such

Army selection is up to you, although I will personally be paying particular attention to dwarfs, orcs and bretonnians.... ;)

1500 points implying 1K or 2K army selector limits ?
Assuming a "legal"  army ?
No points towards magic items ?!!

And what will be the prize    8)  :P

and as an post scriptum: in vitro, virtual or actual ??

if you hadn't guessed, I'm trying to find out the best value for money army, assuming 2k limits, heck make a 2k army

the only prize is my gratitude and interest and your own satisfaction

and this is very much a virtual exercise :)

Chaos Army - Games Workshop

2 packs Marauders
2 packs Chaos Warriors
1 Pack Dragon Ogres
1 pack characters
3 packs Chaos Knights

a legal list for 1500 points (assuming its a 2K requirement)
Not particularly balanced though!

Nope, it's what I did :)
That and it is a great starting point for the 3 armies you have mentioned.
