Just check the GW sites.

I think it may have been removed due to the forthcoming release of the Hobbit and associated games.
Would have been nice to see it given a boost in 10mm form though :(

It seems out of the GW webpage.
GW announced this year they would discontinue the BOFA, but it was still available recently.
I think it may have been removed due to the forthcoming release of the Hobbit and associated games.
If that is true, it has no sense. They could sell more BOFA with the movie propaganda, and being a game on their own, and oriented to specialist games customers, I think it wouldn't stop the main stream of customers from buying 28mm figures (for the hobbit, LOTR, etc, etc...) ???
But, well, we all know GW policies, and it has been discussed other times in these threads...

True, but the Hobbit movies means a renewal of licensing, and the terms of the license may have changed. All it takes is MB to show an interest in a board game with small miniature pieces and GW look at the SG license and feel it's not worth fighting for. Just speculating here.
Besides, wasn't BoFA a 'limited release', somewhere in the region of 6000 games only? ;)

Yes, sounds possible.
AFAIK the BOFA was not a limited release. Anyway the lead blisters were discontinued :(
