Title: Volcanic eruption question

Hi all

The spell (chaos dwarves) states that the enemy units take D3 attacks worked out in the normal way.

So after i make my roll to successfully cast the spell and i roll the D3, do those units start making saves or do i have to then roll to hit as normal with those attacks (rolling a 4+ for each attack)?

It is the same spell as HE Storm of stone. So D3 determines the number of attacks for each unit that work out in usual way - i.e. 4+ for every attack, save etc.
