Does anyone know of any decent Heavy Fuel or Super Heavy transport models, preferably for under a tenner?
-
Have you checked out the forgeworld ones? Gzg has some too, im pretty sure these are smaller tho. http://shop.groundzerogames.net/index.php?_a=viewCat&catId=50&page=1
-
I have looked at the GZG ones, but by the time postage is added then top out at about £11. :(
-
I sell some Trader ships which might be good for proxying as smaller transporters: http://www.freewebstore.org/Abomination/Venusian_Trader/p1322681_7596631.aspx
I could do some heavy Traders of a similar design?
-
I was just looking at your transports the other day, E&C. Would you be able to make a heavy fuel / super heavy version?
-
I would be able to do that, they'd have to be about £5 each I'd say (optional base 25p extra).
Sales of the initial Trader model haven't been stellar to date... which'd be preferred, armed versions of my Trader, or Heavy Traders?
-
It took me a long time looking for your transports - I only came across them by chance, after I had already bought transport models :(.
I would be looking for Heavy Traders, but others may want different things.
-
Oh I hadn't realized these made the hop from the virtual world. Will need to snag a few of these soon! Fuel and Troop transport versions would be nice to have too. Armed versions of these are easy to convert with a few left over bitz.
-
Never saw them E&C!
How much is their length/width in cm? They come 1 per pack, right?

Hi,
Length is 3.4cm.
Width (full wingspan) is 1.3cm
Width (main hull) is 0.8cm
They're £2 each, or £2.25 each with flying stands.
If they prove popular I'd like to make more spaceships.
-
Is stand: stem + base?
Shipping costs are really okay.
Do you sell stands seperatelly as well?
-
I could put stands up for sale separately I guess. I buy them in at 24p each so I'm not really making any profit on those.
They are the hex bottomed type, not the BFG/Games Workshop type.

A fuel ship concept...
Venusian Light Replenishment Oiler
=========================
In order to support their wide ranging Trading missions, the merchants of Venus often travel in convoys containing a few replenishment oilers. These ships rarely carry goods for trade, but by providing a group of Traders with fuel and other consumables they grant the Venusian tradeships independence from local retail prices, and greatly extend the reach of the Venusian Trade Fleets.

Looks pretty cool to me, and I would buy some, presuming you ship to canada and at a reasonable rate... ;D
-
I currently do some pretty good shipping prices I think, especially for larger orders.
Not that I have anything more than 1 product on sale so far mind you. :-)
-
Those fuel traders look pretty cool E&C!
-
First test casting is in.
Looks good?
-
Very nice 8).
-
Looking very cool, I especially like the fuel transporter
-
If you accept pay pal/credit card and ship to canada, consider me sold. These look great and I would buy quite a few.
-
He does everything you asked for.
-
What a champ! Keep us posted, E & C. I am very interested.
-

I've put a placeholder entry on my webstore: http://www.freewebstore.org/abomination/index.aspx?pageid=1322674
You can click a button there to notify you when it comes into stock.

Where you asking about the Brigade models or the Abomination ones?
if the Bridage ones the website lists the miniature dimensions. But I can take some pictures of the ones I have if you want.
-
The Brigade ones. And pictures would be appreciated. Listed dimensions dont always do it .... bulk and "complexity" of the model > dimensions (to some extend)
-
That models are awesome!!! ; )

I only got two kinds, the Light Freighter and Light modular container ship. Heres one of each with a Sword.
-
Hum, a tad small but for a little over a buck a pop their not bad. the heavy merchants and medium containers would probably be about spot on if the measurements are good. They have some cool looking torpedoes too.
-
Any rough date on when the oilers will be in stock? Ive signed up for the email, but could do with planning out spending!
-
With a little luck, sometime this week.

Could those who clicked on the "email me when it comes back into stock" option let me know if they received their email correctly?
-

But I have just ordered :)

Just received my transporter and fuel trasporter models in the mail.
They are absolutely excellent, nice crisp casts, perfectly in scale and delivered quickly.
I would recommend them to anyone looking for transport models
