I figured these should be posted where WM players can see them rather than lost in a forum for other games :) Some folks here will have seen them already.
These are the current completed units. I have a Storm Vermin unit on the go right now so will post them too once they're done.

Hi, those rats are great. Rat ogres are impressive. I like the choice of the colours. Looking forward to see more pics :)
-
Very nice
-
These look great, I also like the colour choice, they'll be a great sight on the battlefield.
-
The light source on the doomwheel is particularly stunning!
-
Wow, it's a very good looking army. I have never had the choice to have a skaven oponent, i'd like to see such a cool army as my oponent some day.
-
Someone else with a thing for the good old vile ratkin. Nice job, especially that hunk of warpstone! Glad somebody else is out there doing some rats ;D
-
very well done
-
So I have gotten back to doing some more Ratties.
My Council Guard - albino rats!

Really nice work. I like the choice of painting the storm vermin white. It makes them stand out in a cool way.
-
oo my goss, those rat men seems really angry! :S
They are superb! thanks for sharing
-
LOVE the idea of albion Stormvermin
-
Wow, those look good. Maybe I'll start painting Skaven instead...
-
Great painting! You don't see Skaven much in warmaster scale, which is a pity as I think they are one of the nicest armies going and if you are true to the skaven background fluff, its the only scale you can do them justice with really - none of this 100 - 200 man army nonsense in 28mm!
Neek neek, the clans are gathering and the Horned Rat is scheming dominion overt he lands of men.......

They look great Dobbsy.
What are you thoughts on 6 strips per base? Too much? Can you still make out enough detail after having spent all that time painting it?
-
Dave - I had considered 5 per base but I like the 6 per base better. It's not too bad in regards to details and it really gives it a horde feel, especially when you pack all the units together. Plus I don't have to do super details on the strips in the centre.
As it's a little more cramped on the base though I do have to watch where I glue them down and in what order because sometimes they "bump" depending on how each strip is sculpted. I end up having to align each strip first so I know they'll fit side by side.
-
Look for pictures of my skaven.
I differentiated with strips and even ratswarm bases an rarogres to create more of a mish-mash feeling for the various clans.
A poor clan will have only "lesser" weapons, banners and incorporate ratswarms to make up numbers, while the richer clans can afford to charter ratogres and jezail and in general have more/larger banners

Really really nice painting job. I like the white rats unit.
