Title: What is your favorite?

I was wondering which armies your guys like the most; purely from an aesthetic point of view.

My Top Three would be:

1. Empire
2. Araby
3. Lizardmen

Definitely ARABY....really, really awesome units with a lot of details and flair.

My top two

1) Chaos (but I recognize that painting a lot of chaos at once overflow me)
2) Empire ( I have a large force of empire, and always have the impulse of paint more of them)

Empire are beautiful, but looks so intimidating to paint!

I think, purely from the quality of the sculpts that I've seen, that Skaven are the most beautiful and varied army.

These are exactly my thoughts, stormwind. The empire miniatures are just great. Only the knights look a little bulky, but I still like them. I will only start painting my empire army once I have practiced enough and have some great color scheme idea.

About araby: A few years ago I got so paranoid because of the possiblity of GW closing down warmaster, such that I bought a 3K army.

Good work Toon.  Whilst I love Araby - and it is the rarest army out there by far it seems - being the last officially released one - if I had the money to buy a new army from GW in a panic it would still be Skaven, because they are so unique.

Chaos for me. I think they have the most interesting sculpts and the most character. Araby is a close second :)

1) Araby (although I do not owe them)
2) Orcs - great sculpted army
3) High Elves
4) Bretonnia (but only if well painted - models themselves are not so overwhelming). I could not resist putting my favourite army on  the list.
