Quick "what would you do" question:
Would you take a fleet reroll and an extra shield on a strike cruiser?
or
Would you take terminator boarding parties?
Why/why not.

Shield: doubles protection. From 1 to 2 means a lot.
Re-roll: always handy with launch bays all around.
vs
Extra double diced hit&run attack per turn.
Downfall to latter: only possible vs enemies with shields down and own ship is not on special orders.
I'd pick option 1.

Option 1 all my life. You can use termis only in really restricted situations. You can always profit from an extra reroll and an extra shield. Situational vs always, always wins.

There is no such thing as too much shielding. Shields, always.

Using 2010 right? So this would be a Strike cruiser w/MotF, re-roll, and shield 235pts vs Strike cruiser w/MotF and termys 245?
I would be inclined to sway to the shield for the same reasons already presented. I would maybe consider the termys on a base Strike as a surprise tactic but not as a standard. Theyre very badly overpriced especially given that you must not have taken a special order and you must be within extremely close range.

Of course 2010; nothing newer than that yet. ;)
All good points. I had two warm up games tonight (first time playing in a year!) and I only had one teleport attack to make use of.

Sheilds. Save your termies for Nicor and it's super ungodly teleporting and boarding.
