Hi,
We are uncertain about the need of a line of sight for the two units.
In the German rule book it is mentioned they can shoot over own units without a line of sight.
Later it is mentioned that all artillery needs to be in a higher level for shooting overhead.
My opinion is that they need a line of sight.
Just want to clarify.

Just for clarification. Lobber/chukka are not in a higher Level than the own units blockig line of sight.

:o in spanish language do not say that, neither in english. Can you say the title of the parragraph to search it?
in warmaster only trebuchet can shoot without line of sight

You need LOS always. If not they cannot shoot.
Artillery on higher ground can see over other units below and shoot, even over your own troops and obstacles (except Forests)
Artillery at the same level than your troops with LOS blocked can not shoot overhead (except Bretonian Trebuchet)
Archers/Infantery on higher ground can not shoot over friendly troops as they are not artillery.
