Was farting around today looking at the star ship scales website:
http://www.merzo.net/
Started comparing Star Was and BFG ships and scaling stuff. Turns out an Imperial Class Star Destroyer is about the same length as a BFG Cobra and a super star destroyer (Executor) is about 14" long. Was then looking at Star Destroyers on ebay and found a resin SSD kit that is 14" long...
Scale comparison:

Not cheap, but not bad for the size compared to current BFG capital ship prices:

So how long is a MicroMachines Star Destroyer anyway?...

I don't have a MM star destroyer but I used to. If I remember correctly it was about 2 inches long. Probabally twice the length of a cobra.

The MM Star Destroyers seem to be about 3" long, so a bit overscale.
I did find find this set on ebay: super star destroyer plus a couple of (Victory?) class star destroyers. Almost bought it just for the smaller ships...
