Dauntlesses with magged WB with proto LB and lance bays in lower pic. Hulls have two stacked 1/8" x 1/16" magnets (hole drilled all the way through the hull) and WBs have one 1/8" x 1/16" magnet each. For WBs 1/8" hole was drilled partway through and then the hole bottom flattened with a 1/8" carbide end mill so the magnet would sit flush with the back of the WB. Would suggest using 1/8" x 1/32" magnets for the WBs.

AdMech Cruiser with magged LBs and lance bays.
.080" x .250" plastic bar fits the LB perfectly, giving a backing to drill the magnets into

Mystery piece... to me anyway. Anyone know what this bridge goes to? Its a bit larger than a Dauntless bridge and has gun turrets.

I do believe that's an admech cruiser and not a bridge piece ;)

Looks like I made it too easy for ya...
Pic fixed!

That piece in the final picture is one of the side gun plates from an Ork Kill Kroozer/Terror Ship. One mounts on each side, roughly amidships between the head and the engines, above the wings. If/when I ever build a Space Ork fleet again, it's all going to be scratch built, because it is terribly hard to believe that those metal models represent 10 hull points or a reasonable amount of firepower (let alone mekboy-approved quantities of gun barrels sticking out in all directions).

Thanks for clearing that up! :D
Looked a lot like a Dauntless bridge and even has the two ribs on the bottom that fit the Dauntless. I think it will become part of the bridge for the AdMech cruiser above...
Forgot to mention that the reason for doing the magged weapons on the Dauntless is that don't ever expect to get my hands on any Voss pattern light cruisers and I wanted the build options.

Small update:
Didn't like the first LB setup so made another one (middle one in pic). Razor sawed the center rib out and glued the two pieces back together.

Could I get the dimensions of dauntless weapon bits, as well as the actual dimensions of the dauntless weapons bay? I'm working on some weapons bits in gothic style, and the dauntless looks like a fine opportunity!

Weapon .247" x 1.06"
Weapon bay .255" x 1.095"
Note that the top of the bay is open except for a tiny bit at the rear (less than 1/16), so detail will be needed on the tops of the weapons.
