Could be handy for people over here interested in finding epic and other 6mm game players so I thought I'd post=>
Miniwars (http://miniwars.co.uk/) is a player finder for Epic (currently for NetEpic, Epic 40,000 and Epic Armageddon, as well as those few souls who just paint the miniatures). It's growing in both features (galleries were just added) and people. elsmore on TacComms is developing it (see HERE (http://www.tacticalwargames.net/taccmd/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=25583)).
A brief FAQ:
I'm scared of people knowing where I am
Be not afraid, gentle person. You don't need to provide your name or anything beyond an e-mail and some part of a postal code (and I believe more options are in the works so you can just choose a spot on the map).
I'm scared of social media and all the info it lets people get
The site requires an e-mail address, some kind of screen name, and part of a postal code (which narrows your location down even less than your IP address does). For those unfortunates with zip codes, I believe options are in the works to help you be more general (since many zip codes can be quite specific).
No one's near me
Which is what all the people near you are thinking, too. Fight against loneliness! Join the site!

Bit of threadromancy here...
I joined this this site and immediatley found someone very close to me who might be interested in SG. I posted it on my local group forum and got another 5 people to join and appear on the map!
If more people did what I did then the map would fill up even quicker!
