Title: Proxy models - complete list
Post by: Malika on October 02, 2013, 07:54:04 AM
Hi everybody,

I noticed the BFG section has a rather extensive list of proxy models, and thought it fitting to have something similar for Necromunda. Let me start it off by putting some suggestions, and then you can also add yours, just to give players more options to play with. :)

Cultists: http://www.anvilindustry.co.uk/index.php?route=product/category&path=98_100
Armory: http://www.anvilindustry.co.uk/index.php?route=product/category&path=60
Cultists with flamers? http://www.anvilindustry.co.uk/index.php?route=product/product&path=98_113&product_id=300

Hmm, plastic Space Marine scouts, but then with different heads? Maybe with the Space Police helmets by MaxMini (http://maxmini.eu/conversion-bits/head-swaps/police-helmets-bits) and their riot gear (http://maxmini.eu/conversion-bits/melee-weapons-shields/anti-riot-gear-bits)?

Those do look nice, so I may try those, the scouts with head swap idea could be good as well, though I'm not sure on the bottom half of the faces on the police ones, and if I use steam knight or mecha egyptian or steam knight ones it would too marine like. Could give them all beards I guess :P

This...is...awesome!!! For those of you interested in making Necromunda terrain.

Quote
You can now order the terrain sprue directly from the new Maelstrom's Edge webstore (https://www.maelstromsedge.com/medge/store.jsp?acr=dakka). Price is £15 / $19.50 for 2 sprues.

Each two-part sprue is made up of 32 separate parts which you can attach to other materials such as cardboard, foamcore or any interestingly shaped junk you might find, to create a unique, 28mm science fiction battlefield. When you order this, you get two complete sprues, that's double what you see in the image below.
