Greetings friends! I'm finally back home and returning to the hobby, trying to keep the game alive in my quiet corner of the world (well, at least it was until my return :P)
Attached is a an attempt at a kit-bashed inquisition cruiser with salvaged gun decks from a grand cruiser, chaos bridge, plasticard rear shield plating and prow (Imperial eagles pinched from imperial guard lasgun). I've a mind to have it serving the Ordo Xenos to take advantage of the targeting matrix upgrade. Problem is, I have the artistic creativity of a really....uncreative...thing. Any suggestions of colours / styles would be appreciated ;D.
Also for your viewing pleasure, attached is one dauntless class cruiser with new and improved shiny bits; part of my new 'scout fleet' centred around an Exorcist class grand cruiser. All torpedoes, AC, and guns, not a single lance! (just for squigs and giggles really, not a competitive fleet).
Thanks, chaps!

Indeed, so would I...no idea how yet though ??? ;)

Hmm, how about something like brass or gold?

They both look grand! Lovely green there.

Nice ships, man!
Please, try to add some light to your pictures (easy with photoshop). We would really appreciate.

So very cool

Thank you all for the replies. Brass undercoat could be an interesting option - it would definitely stand out from my other fleets. I will also have a go re-shooting the images.
Cheers,
