cool, didn't know that before!
gives me the opportunity to tell you how great the minis are, i bought 4 of the "trader" ships, and am very satisfied with the models, beautiful and clean cast, without any flaws! outstanding work!  :)

sad thing is i didnt get any admech capital ships, otherwise i'd buy the hell out of those new escorts...  :-\
i'll still buy a good amount of the others, next on my want list are at least 4 of the oilers (were sold out at the point where i bought the traders)

Thanks for the positive feedback!

I may do a "cruiser" sized model next. Any other requests?

Liked the Venusian Oiler and Trader.

Will you be working just in metal or also in resin? If just in metal, then I guess that restricts things just to smaller sizes. Mind you, there is choice of 4 cruisers, 3 light cruisers and 3-6 escorts (depending on whether also looked at SM escorts).

Interesting

Will have to subscribe to thread to keep track of what else you come up with.

Thanks

James

you would be a hero if you could do something to represent the almost never produced (just very small amounts) armageddon type light cruisers (defiant, endeavour, endurance, there are pics on lexicanum.de)!  :)

as they are light cruisers, they are pretty small, so should be possible i think...  ;)

These look great -  good job. I think more BFG ships of any type is a plus! Cruisers would be great - perhaps follow the admech vibe or go inquisitorial?

You're back! I saw them on Tactical Wargames, very cool to see them 'in the flesh'.

Bought some of these the other day -  should hopefully arrive soon.

Think doing a cruiser and/or some light cruisers would be a great move. Perhaps some play on the imperial cruiser that cold work for imperial/inquisition/rogue trader/ad mech and with a little conversion, chaos? There's another thread on the board that has something similar at the moment -  but you could beat them to it with a complementary design.
