Hi folks,
I haven't played in over a year, and as a result haven't been painting anything. Anyone else having trouble or do you guys have groups that are into warmaster?
-
We have a large and established gaming group and between us we have every Warmaster army covered, most armies are 5K plus. We used to play Warmaster a couple of times a month but the group has moved on to different fantasy 10mm games now e.g. playing Kings of War in 10mm. For this reason I only get to play proper Warmaster once every 3 months or so but I'm still getting plenty of 10mm fantasy wargaming in!
We're based in the North West of England.

I'm in the South East of England in Maidenhead and have half a dozen of us getting into Warmaster.

Man, I'm always envious of the war gaming scene in the UK.
It's a lot harder in North America :( I'm in Vancouver, Canada
-
We have a large established wargaming group in York , which do play a lot of different games in multiple scales . Unfortunately not wm . However there is a group in Leeds that I may hook up with work permitting .

It's been very quiet over here in Oz for quite some time.... Too many other real life things on the go :(
I need to start pushing WM a bit more... My group has been hitting Malifaux a lot.
-
I'm attempting to establish a gaming group in Garland, a suburb of Dallas, Texas.
-
I've only ever played one WM game, using BoFA miniatures while trying to teach a friend the rules :-\ So I think that's a 'no' to regular. Even so, I really like Warmaster's rules and models, so have collected 2000+ pts of almost every army.
I just moved today, so maybe things will improve- Anyone play Warmaster in Adelaide (Australia)? *awaits tumbleweed*
-
It's a bit of a distance from Adelaide but I have a house I'm renovating/re-locating to just outside of Portland...
When it's ready to go, we could make a long weekend out of it if you can be bothered travelling that far for a weekend of gaming. Might be able to persuade some others to come along for some variety of players and maybe gaming systems. Or just have a gaming weekend with whatever gets played??
-
I'd definitely be interested. Currently none of my stuff has followed me to Adelaide, but I may be able to get it sent down. It'll be a while before I have any idea of how things will be here though- transport, being busy, etc- it's all new.

We've got a decent group pin New England, half-dozen regulars and a a couple more ringers. We get together for a game every month or so.
-
There's a regular group of 6 of us playing most Thursdays in Liverpool, UK. I'm just finishing up my 3rd army but am probably going to sell off the Elves as we have a 'house rule' that any time they win they have actually only drawn... it's pretty fair to say that they are not a popular choice :o
-
@ Geep - don't stress... The house doesn't even have a Certificate of Occupancy yet - still being renovated and worked on.. It might be a while before it's ready for a session.... unless you like "roughing it" slightly. I do have running water and a bathroom. Some power and a BBQ!! All of my gear is in Geelong - will just need to transport it when we make the weekend of gaming. But you are closer than QLD, so it's promising!
-
I wouldn't say I get regular games in. Last time I played was maybe 6 years go. This Saturday, however, I'm playing in the TriWizard in Saffron Walden. I'm just hoping I don't do so horribly I ruin the game for my opponent(s)!

Will be having first game of wm in April . Looking forwardto this after collecting armies for so long . Played bofa five months ago and enjoyed the games .

Been having a game very week for the past few months as we try to learn the rules.
Just got my Chaos killed again by a horde of orcs this evening!
-
I've had 2 days in March of teaching 11 yr olds how to play. Unfortunately one's ADHD prevents him learning the rules. I might have a go for this Saturday.
-
Have fun teaching the childrens and have a great time.
-
its been almost 8 months since my last game of WM and the odds of having another game soon are quite low...
hardly any players around...
