Title: Protoss invade the Gothic Sector?

Does anyone know if this is the most current set of the rules? Would it make for an interesting fleet to game against? In your opinion, are the rules balanced? The reason I ask is because my friend is a big StarCraft fan and this might be an entertaining way to get him into the game with me.
