Just a thought for scenery and objectives - the FW Empire ships are obviously worth a king's ransom now on ebay and I was wondering if anyone made resin or metal ships in that kind of scale?
I'm guessing there must be some Spanish Armada era ruleset that at the very least would spawn some models that would be suitable for Empire and Bretonnians, if not the more obscure races.

I've got a Viking longboat - as plastic kit 'drakkar oseberg' is the magic phrase for eBay.
Pendraken do some boats, but I think they are much later.
I would hope that there are some 1/200 to 1/144th scale plastic kit Spanish Main style ships around.

Forbes is right, the model scale suitable is 1/144.
Steve Barber also have very nice model for 10mm Roman naval

I think east riding miniatures do a small range of 10mm ships , Essex miniatures do a range of 15mm boats .

You may use Heller junior scale ship 1/400 or Revell ones they look good and are not much expensive
