Hi
I have the Warmaster rulebook, the Warmaster Ancients, Warmaster Ancients Armies and Warmaster Medieval.
I am lacking the Warmaster Armies book. But I am wondering if the annuals are worth it and whether these annuals are compiled into something?
The Warmaster rule update, was that ever published in any form?
And would the Warmaster rules + pdf update be equal to the Living Rulebook found on some sites? What is the difference and what do you play with?
Sorry for noob questions... ::)

The most up to date PDFs and errata are linked to here:

In general I think the Annuals are mostly out of date rules/list-wise. But there's still good scenarios/campaigns/pics in them.

Hi Dave
Thanks for the reply. Do you know how the regular rulebook part 1 + 2 + rules update differ from the living rulebook?
I also took a look at this link: http://www.darkagepress.com/WarmasterDownloads.html

No idea, not sure who made it. I assume it be just the rule PDFs combined with the errata.

I thought GW compiled that... but my knowledge is not up to date.
I was thinking of getting a print copy of one ruleset, but not sure which to go for... hmm..

Maybe I'm wrong, but I thing the two PDF's are most up-to-date and the errata PDF is for the old original rulebook. The documents were compiled by GW. The same goes for Mordheim PDF's that were once on the GW website.

The two PDFs don't include the errata I listed on the WM army selector. They might include some of the errata, but definitely not all of it, check the first errata entry against the first PDF, it's not in there.
GW did not compile the living rulebook. They compiled what I linked to on the selector. Not sure who compiled the living one, or what's in it.

Thanks Dave, but which one to get then?
I am still not sure, sorry... ???

I'd say that's probably up to you/your group.
We use the PDFs on the selector here, with all errata.
