Total Battle miniatures have just released a whole new range of 10mm North African and Middle Eastern buildings. They would make excellent buildings for games of Warmaster set in desert areas and/or with Tomb Kings armies. There really are some fantastic looking buildings and building sets in there.

Here's a pic of the Fort. I reckon that with the right colour scheme and a few small modifications, this fort could even be used in non desert themed games.

That's a very nice model, and I really like that it is sold as separate pieces. It's hard to tell, but do you think Warmaster bases would fit in the tops of the towers?

Not sure if Warmaster bases would fit in the tops of the tower sections. I'll email them and ask...watch this space...

They look good.
Buying the fort all together seems to be considerably more than buying the 4 pieces on their own though.
The pieces are 50mm wide, so hopefully will fit WM stands.

my next purchase...

Yeah, the guys have also noticed this and said that the complete Fort should be 80 pounds and they have emailed their website admin asking to have it changed from the 95 pounds to 80 pounds. This includes the 4 buildings plus the base that they all sit in, which is 12 pounds I believe.
I emailed them about the area available for placement of stands in the tops of the towers as well, here's an excerpt from their reply email in regards to this;
"Wherever possible the areas in the fort have been designed to take Warmaster Bases, so the corner towers take 2 bases besting just over 40x40. Also all the ramparts take 40x20 bases either singularly or two side by side. The Corner Tower on the Tall Towered section is just 40x33, so that will just take a single base.
The Ruined Wall section can replace the Wall with Steps to depict a breach and all the walls can interact on a 90º as in the fort or on the straight to do a full castle."

They do look good - I have a fair few TBM buildings already and all have very good details.
I like the way that these can be configured in various ways - you can have the 4 as a square fort as shown. Or have 2 in a line, and 1 going back at each corner, to represent a castle at the edge of the table. Or even all 4 in a line.
I'm in on a couple of kick-starters at the minute - so may have to wait a little bit before adding this to my collection, but its definitely on the want list!!

Very nice stuff!

Agree, very nice

Yep, really really nice.
I bought last month the anglo-saxon village for my warmaster tables, and i really appreciated them. I long to paint this great stuff.
-
Fantastic stuff! I have already the town and the saxon village. Great stuff! Next purchase is now on my wishlist for my araby army
-
You have the town !
It's supposed to be 6mm so i did not bought it. Could you tell us if it's a correct scale for Warmaster or not ? Any hope of a picture of it near troops ?
-
Not the 6 mm town. It is one of the Gun Power Towns in 10mm.
-
Does the Anglo Saxon stuff fit best for Kislev stuff?
-
You can use them for a countryside village.
Norse, Kislev maybe with a Wood church or even orks
-
I think it fits well for kislev (my army), north parts of the empire maybe (Nordland), Norsca etc.
