Hey guys
I'm putting together a tournament pack for an event to be held in Melbourne, Australia.
Does anyone know the FONT used in the game's name/logo on the cover art?
Maybe someone in graphic design or a desktop publishing guru among us can kindly share their wisdom?
I'd like to make the TP as professional looking as possible as it's the first edition of the event and the interest is growing daily, without much promotion at all - after I and the TOs release the tournament pack we'll of course share it with the community through the usual channels to achieve the greatest attendance and enjoyment for all.
Also, what do you think the text font employed in the living rulebook and/or army lists/supplements might be?
Thank you in advance - I sure hope someone can chop us out (even if it's a licensed font I'm happy to invest a few bucks to license it, no problems there...)

Which Game ?
Your post being in the General Discussion....

Oh sorry mod, you're right - my bad!
Warmaster, my conundrum is with Warmaster (yet maybe someone who doesn't play the actual game might work in publishing and recognize the font so General still seems the best way to reach as many fellow SP enthusiasts as possible...)
In fact as I read your blog entry and you worked with Mr. P since the start of the WM journey any chance you might recall the font employed in the logo and/or the interior font?
Thanks in advance, Lex

Thanks for the links though I don't understand the connection - is there a font file in there I haven't spotted?
That may well be the case, I'm slightly dislexic when it comes to the internet and searching for things - the closer they are to right under my nose, the less I'm likely to spot them!
I'll send you a PM as I don't like sharing people's email addresses on public forums - though I get the feeling you might be closely associated with the recipient of said email anyway. I've searched by and large and the PM I'll send you is as close as I've gotten thus far in my search...
Thanks Lex

So no luck eh....I've been scouring the internet for the Warmaster font but no luck...
Absolutely positive no one knows the name of the font used? Warmuster's font is pretty much perfect - any idea what THAT font is?
I can work with Fireworks to make it a-ok, but need a decent starting font to produce a quality tournament pack that doesn't look like it was a garage job.
Nobody at all has any idea?
Pretty please with sugar or Squig juice on top (take your pick, I won't judge..)

Really it was not a font in general. Just a partial modified outline of some font of Academy font family. I would not recommend to use this (or similar) font for main text bodies - it suits for header only. I have used Academy Rough Bold font for headers in the Compendium (or Warmuster issues).

Looking at the PDF, the fonts used in there are Caslon Antique VL, Courier, Garamond TC by BT and Helvetica. The title is likely a graphically designed image.

Yep, Dave is right regarding Living Rulebook etc (ie GW made PDFs). So you may try to find some fonts from Caslon or Academy sets.
