Whilst I might be a grumpy "old" gamer who is annoyed that GW pulled the rug out under Specialist Games, I am not going to be churlish and deny that their plastic kits were and occasionally are (even now) brilliant.
I never really liked a lot of the 28mm SG metals but get excited at the thought of making a really characterful warband of Empire guys using Forgeworld and GW plastic parts.
I've just got a great river and some bridges - area terrain templates for trees / rough ground but I wonder about dense ruins with dark age / fantasy buildings and I hate the idea of scratch building all my own.
A while ago I saw a preview for a fantasy range of MDF that looked suitable but I can't find it again. I'm not sure that Mordheim is for me - but it strikes me as something that could be a skirmish favourite if I could only get some nice bits to go on the table.

I was going to link to that Warlord Hamlet, but you were the one who posted it in the first place.

Yeah, ha ha! I think you could buy several - but it looks like you can't "stack" or combine them like you can other kickstarted things - so I was trying to find the name of that MDF fantasy ruin range I saw advertised ata con recently. It's driving me nuts.
EDIT:
Aha! It was Fabled Realms from 4 Ground, no ruins though, distressingly:

They're mixed in with the intact buildings, but they have 5-6 ruined or damaged houses in the fantasy line.
