good point stormwind, they look pretty well for wood elf!

I was thinking in using this figures for some outlaws in the woods of the Emipre, something like a Robin Hood band unit. I will use the stats of Xbowmen

JChaos: That's a brilliant idea!

Just the other day I was thinking that when I finally get around to an Empire army, I would be tempted to make some "characterful" units, perhaps with the Halflings from the Eureka range, to represent troops from the Moot and the poorer Empire provinces.

Thanks JChaos

I was thinking the Wood elf route as well. A little big maybe, but I guess elves just grow taller.

IMHO, once painted and based you will see no significative difference in high during a game. It will work pretty good as wood elves.

Just thinking about wood elves, I saw somewhere a picture of pendraken elvish outcast and I think they could work properly for your purposes.

Damn, I just made an order to Pendraken few days ago and I forgot to include this little fellows  >:( anyway I remember seeing the pic of those figures and though, they do not have anything in common with regluar fantasy range of pendraken, maybe it is other sculptor. I do not know their high, but I remember them as references to be worth.

Maybe this could be another option for you.

Great idea to use them as Wood Elves or Empire Outcasts!

I wanted to use them too as Dark Rangers for an Isengard army (not based in the recent movies)

I'm not sure what that Irregular one looks like in person, but that picture doesn't do it for me. The hat reminds me of a jester's hat.
