Title: [WM] Chaos warmaster project.

Hello.

I'm starting a new project - Chaos Legion.

It has to be fast, nice and colorful.

I sold all the other armies. I only left the Chaos.  :'(

I'm going back to the hobby after a long break.  :)

End of collecting. Time for painting and playing.  ::) 8)

Absolutely beautiful stuff! Very similar to mine in theme except you with red whereas I use blue.

First of all - thank you very much for all the kind words  :)

Secondly - I paint by applying clear base colors on a white undercoat.
Then I use Gw & Vallejo washes. Fast and very effective method.

Thirdly - the skulls on Archaon stand come from undead bone thrower and from the usual skeletons regiment.

Fourth - soon: second unit of chaos warriors, chaos dragon ogres, harpies & two units of Khorne bloodletters (used as marauders).

Archaon and the dragon must wait...

Point of order, you can't be "Slann.Warmaster" if you sold your Lizardmen! :P

Good stuff, the grisaille technique works well at this scale.

Slann.Warmaster, what colour have you used for the warriors armour? Is it gold covered with a wash to dull it?

I am really skeptical of undercoating white but some of the armies like this are so good it is tempting me.

Do you do any highlights, or just basecoat and wash?
