Planning on buying some 25mm round bases from these guys for characters. All my previous characters have been mounted on 40k bases which are the same size, but a lot taller than the 2mm thick warmaster bases.

The round bases that are 35mm and 40mm are they worthwhile for larger characters? Not sure what I would use those for.

Sounds like a good plan! I bought a lot of the Renedra bases a while back so I was using those for character ones.

Now that I have magnetic bases from Sally 4th, going to be using them for 25mm and 40mm bases.

I recently received a small order of Steppe Goblins from our very good friend .

The goblin infantry are absolutely fabulous . Two command strips . A choice of two different flags .

The infantry although in strips of five are not flat , but very individual  poses that are three dimensional and some that are very dynamic . Very nice ( I will be investing in more over the coming months . )

I have command pack .
Very individual figures with both mounted and foot .
Very nice goblin hero on large squig .

Goblin wyverns two to a pack , very nicely detailed .

Goblins mounted on squig as Lex has already said easy to part on strip ( which I've done , as I thought they make great alternative mounted units .)

Bolt throwers exceptional value and we'll detailed . Two different strips of crew . Brilliant I like individual figures .

Got extra , special figures which are very nice and individual mounted wolf riders come in two parts .

Also got Gork idol and sleeping wolves . Very nice pieces and we'll detailed , will add extra scenery , dioramas to the battle field .

As can be guessed I was very impressed with what I got in my first order .
And yes over the next coming months there will be orders going in . I really do like the look of the goblin village .

I have no painted figures as yet .
I'm thinking of starting a painting blog .

Hat's of to you good sir . Excellent work .

Thanks for the review, Stuart.  It really looks like unanimous praise for these figures.

The goblin barricades would be good for one of the scenarios in the original rulebook as well.

I got my order as well all save and sound. Can't decide wich unit to paint first. All are absolutely stunning.

Every Orc Army should have Grimmgork and his fellas.

Thank you very much.

Oh man :/ I want them both!
Do tell if these ever becomes available for separate sale as I cant justify buying more orcs & goblins than what I already have :P

Hmmmm, maybe a truckload of huts and palisades...

As someone who currently has over 8K of painted Warmaster Orcs and Goblins (including several units of Bel's awesome Black Orcs and a couple of his giants) and another couple of thousand points unpainted, I can't see myself ever needing more either - but those two characters do look awesome and I'd be prepared to pay a very good price for them if they were ever up individually as well.

Tempted by the cave orcs! How much do you need to spend to get the two cool free orc characters again Bel?

A couple of clarifying things:

1. There are some issues when placing Boarboyz together on the base - they don't fit well enough bkz they are a bit more 'bulky' rather then ordinary Boarboyz. I cut the all the boar strips to minimize the foundation area. The result you can see there:

2. There were some doubts of scale - how do Boarboyz fit with other 10mm miniatures. Okay, lets see:

I recently bought some polar fox stuff to bulk out my GW OnG army. Have to say I am very happy with the models and the service. Was able to track the models all the way from Siberia. ...but not from Heathrow to west Drayton.  Gotta love the British post office.

Great gobo sculpts. Orc order coming up!

Big, bulky and detailed is what most of the early GW range is so they match well!

I just received my order of 4 units of Boar Boys and 4 units of trolls from Siberia.

Boar boys - very crisp and clean with good detail. Nice mix of poses. They are a little larger than the original GW Boar Boys but still compatible. I will be using them as a brigade of 'Big Uns' on Boars.

Trolls - Very nice figures. Lots of character and I particularly like the 'vomiting' figure. They are entirely compatible size wise with the original GW stone trolls.

Bel also threw in some Orc character figures for free. These are excellent and I will be using them to make a brigade hero for the orc big un brigade and a shaman on a boar to be attached to offer some much needed magical support. He also chucked in a blister of pigs which I will base up in pens in my orc villages.

Excellent figures. I highly recommend them.

I'll try but it'll be a long time before I return to my Orc army as I'm still in chaos mode when it comes to Warmaster painting.
