Title: AD&D monsters in Warmaster
Post by: Mars Miniatures on January 03, 2015, 11:17:28 PM
How would you stat a D&D mindflayer for Warmaster?  I sculpted one and now I have to figure out some rules for him.

Here he is with a Quaggoth (enslaved bear beast), and an elven herald.

lol, I answered in the other thread.  But looking at my post I think I should have posted this in the "alternate settings" subcategory.

Looks like a Chaos Sorcerer to me, maybe with a spell like Doom and Despair (he's telepathically compelling the enemy not to charge).

Dave,

Doom and Despair is wonderful to represent his mindcontrol.
Also a mindflayer uses teleport and levitate alot.  So teleport from the Empire spell list, and/or give him flying.

Thanks that was pretty simple.
