In my opinion is great news for the hobby

Well, that is interesting. Agreed. This opens up some interesting possibilities.

Just a wish or a wonder: is there any possibility of someone (like pendraken) take warmaster ancient or even warmaster fantasy in his hands?. Not the moulds for the figures but the game.
or the actual GW office is absolutely close to sell games?
-
I don't think Pendraken is interested in Warmaster Fantasy now that they have Warband. And the commander series proves aptly that as long as you don't call your game Warmaster anduse different wording the mechanics are free to apply to historicals.

GW wouldn't sell Warmaster. But something could be developed to replace it. It would need new language and pictures, but could use the same/similar mechanics.
-
GW wont let go of their properties. Fantasy is a massive cash winner for them second to 40K sure but still massive. They cant sell that and even selling Warmaster would have to include most of the IP at the 10mm scale. I am not sure that Pendraken would even be interested!
That said, a fantasy game based on the Commander rules engine would be great (and, no, the irony of that statement is not lost on me).

That is an interesting concept! :)
