Meteor TDS torpedoes are short burn torpedoes and disappear after the ordnance phase in which they were fired, nor can they leave the arc they were fired in. Meteors are also smaller in size and are only hit by Turrets on a 5+, rather than 4+. They cannot be combined in a salvo with normal torpedoes or Meteors from another Deimos, however the Port and Stbd launchers on a single Deimos can combine their salvoes when fired in the FWD arc.
Auto loaders: You do not have to RO for the Meteor TDS. It is still required for the Prow Torpedoes.

Arbite Crew: Arbites ships receive +1 in boarding actions.
Python Class Scout Sloop- 30pts (IN and Rogue Trader)
Hits: 1

If using Attack Ratings the Python allows you to reroll your die result if you choose (you must choose whether you will use this option before rolling!). To use this option you must have one python per 500 points. If this option is chosen the Python is not deployed as standard. The Python (or Python Squadron) must be deployed after all other ships, within 45cm of an enemy ship if possible. If there are no enemy ships present the Python (or Python Squadron) may be deployed anywhere on the table so long as it is not within 60cm of a friendly ship, and cannot be combined in a squadron with a vessel of another class. If you do not choose to use this option the Python is deployed as standard.

What about the torpedo boats?
-
What about the torpedo boats?
I haven't thought of a good way to represent them yet. Any suggestions?
They will be some sort of system defense, I at least know that.
-
I got some, and was planning on using them similar to the torpedo bombers, maybe with a higher strength salvo or something like that. Since they're being used for system defense, they could be treated like predeployed ordinance. The model basically looks like a ww2 PT boat in space, so I was thinking of using them like ordinance and then having them dock at the station or whatever to reload.

Imperial High Conveyor-Special (based off the High Conveyor in IA:Vol 10)
Hits- 12/Battleship
Speed: 15cm
Turns: 45*
Shields: 2
Armour: 4+
Turrets: 3
Weapons:
Port Weapons Battery- R:15cm S:4 Arc- L
Stbd Weapons Battery- R:15cm S:4 Arc- R
Prow Weapons Battery- R:15cm S:4 Arc- L
Dorsal Weapons Battery- R:30cm S:4 Arc- L/F/R
Special Rules: Vast- 3d6 AAF, May not use come to new heading, all critical hits receive -1 on the results table and counts as 3 Regular Imperial Transports in scenarios that utilize transports. -1 Leadership. Points cost is special as it should be utilized in scenarios with transports rather than in a normal fleet list.
-
So a modification for the Governor based on how it looks. Basically over half the forward part of the vessel is barren, and the rules agree with that. SO I figured this space would also be good transport space. I added the rule that in a mission requiring transports, if you take a Governor, it fills the role of one of the transports.
Governor Class Grand Cruiser- 250
Hits: 10
Speed: 20cm
Turns: 45*
Shields: 3
Armour: 5+
Turrets: 3
Weapons:
Port Lances- R: 45cm S: 4 Arc: L
Stbd Lances- R: 45cm S: 4 Arc: R
Dorsal WB- R: 60cm S: 6 Arc: L/F/R
Prow Torpedoes- Speed: 30cm S: 6 Arc- F
Special Rules: For +10 points you may upgrade the Lances to S:6 R:30cm. In a mission that requires transports, the Governor-class if taken fills the role of one of the transports
-
So I upped the Governor to 260 to cover the built in transport rule.
Here is the fluff I modified to match
It is rumored that the Governor-class Grand Cruisers were amongst the first classes of warships ever built for the Emperor's Great Crusade and are possibly a precursor to the Desolator battleship. The millennia long wars and cannibalization of parts since then has whittled down the fleet compliment of Governors so that now only a handful are left and any that are lost can no longer be replaced.
As the vanguard of the Great Crusade, the Governors served a dual purpose. They were designed with a large transport area in the forward half of the ship, concentrating their lances around the aft end and mounting weapons batteries on dorsal turrets to leave sufficient room to transport large contingents of conquering Imperial Army soldiers, holding several infantry and armoured regiments within their titanic holds. These vessels were often left as system flagships, able to not only defend the system from invading Xenos forces, but also able to redeploy garrisoned Army elements or PDF regiments within the system.
Although they have long since been rendered obsolete in terms of ship design, they still have their place in the modern Imperial Fleet due to their unique design combining transport capacity and warship capabilities. The can often be found as the flagship of transport convoys or amongst Crusade or Explorator forces. Because of this, most have never been mothballed or placed on reserve status and many have also been used to backstop against the 13th Black Crusades of Abaddon, bringing much needed Guard and Fleet power to the front.

This should be the last of the IN ships unless I find any others.
oh, and the "Mega" ships will be done separately...

So I got suggested to do an Escort where the ONLY weapon it has is a Nova Cannon
Onager Class Frigate- 50 (IN)
Hits: 1
Speed: 25cm
Turns: 90*
Shields: 1
Armour: 5+
Turrets: 1
Weapons:
Prow Nova Cannon: R: 30-150cm S: 1 Arc: F
Special Rules: Must go on the Reload Ordnance SO to reload NC. Any critical hit is immediately treated as a Catastrophic Plasma Overload result (even though it is an escort) with a 1d6+3cm damage radius.
-
Looks good. Can't wait to see the picture of it.
-
Any fleet restrictions it should have?
I was thinking 1 per 500 points and it does not count against a fleets NC restrictions (essentially giving you 2 per 500 points)
-
Yeah. That sounds good. Also, what about combining fire for squadrons?
-
Yeah. That sounds good. Also, what about combining fire for squadrons?
I like that.
How about something like this. When the first one fires, it is a ranging shot. The rest center off of the first shot if they choose and scatter only 1 d6 from that spot if they do not get a direct hit.

Good day,
Coming back to BFG after a long time off. I am looking to update my Chaos forces and actually have a few hulls laying around that haven't been put together. I was wondering if there was another design based off of the Despoiler hull? Also...
Hellbringer Class Planetary Assault Ship (CH)
Emasculator Class CA (CH)
Pagan Class System Control Cruiser CL (CH)
Enticer Light Cruiser CL (CH)
Pestilaan Class CL (CH)
...have these been done as of yet or are their rules I can help to play test?
Thanks!

They are planned. I have the first draft of their rules done but have not put up the Chaos DEV thread yet (finishing up everything Imperial First). Expect to see Chaos sometime late AUG- Mid SEP
-
ty for the info and for all your hard work
-
I was thinking for the torpedo boats, give them stats of a cobra but each stand of three may be replaced by a single s6 torpedo Salvo during controlling players ordnance phase.
-
New Draft. Ignore Space Marine Page #s. I have to put in all the IN fleet lists after the high conveyor and they will push SM even further back, which is why I haven't bothered to update them yet.

I increased the Neptune from 190 to 205 and the chalice from 215 to 235
-
finally finished my majestic class a while ago but unfortunately i didnt have an emperor style prow and so opted for a retribution prow, torpedoes and all.
do you think that would be too powerful as a straight swap?
remove the +1 leadership and prow batteries for a strength 9 torpedo salvo.
am just conscious that it becomes quite an ordnance monster when combining the bombers and the torpedoes?
maybe it could be an option?
over the milennia the uber sensor arrays and comms have been cannibalized from many left over majestics for use on more renowned vessels like the emperor class blah blah and a common replacement is prow torpedoes type thing?

While I wouldn't mind playing it, I don't know if it should be codified in rules. As you said, that is an Ordnance MONSTER. As well since it isn't an option for the Emperor, I hesitate to make it one for the Majestic. But nothing says, since it is unofficial anyways, you can't make fluff for it in your battlefleet to make it a vessel of renown.
Plus, I have no more room on the page to add those rules... :-\
-
No worries, as I have fully magnetised it it might be fun to chop off the prow and magnetise that at a later date.
For now as you say I will fluff it as a modified majestic for now, my opponent is flexible with stuff like that
-
Any chance of adding citations to the ships GW made? I recall the first ASC had a citation at the bottom.

this will be added as a master key at the end. I don't have much room on each page and it clutters the look IMO. And I don't have it in there yet because it is easier to append pages rather than insert them
