Title: How does BFG: FR compare to BFG:R
Post by: Gothmog Lord of Balrogs on April 04, 2015, 08:59:40 PM
Would you say that BFG: FR powers well alongside the retooled BFG:R ships or are they more fitting for the original rules of BFG? I ask for the sake of the ASC 2.0 as there are several ships in BFG:FR that were on the ASC list, but if they scale well, there is no need to add them.

I honestly don't know, but just to clarify: there are four sets of rules people want to use?

- Official rules
- BFG:FE (Fan Edition, aka BFG:R)
- BFG:FR (French Revision?)
- ASC 2.0 (???)

No mas!!!  :o

ASC 2.0 is an update to the original ASC specifically to be used with BFG:R. It is being designed to be a catch all for all unofficial yet still common fun fan made vessels out there. It is an optional supplement.

I think the french comunity will be super happy to help about this project.
Currently the main french ship profile developper is Heavygear, who is using some king of Smithonian formula updated. But i am feeling than some of them should be a bit more tested before being reused.

I am just wondering what they seem scaled to. I am trying to match BFG:R and if they are matching original BFG, then I don't mind doing a retooled version. I probaby won't do rak'gol or fra'al still.
